My Story

Tony Andrews and Digby Lund have decided to be very brave lads and together with Digby's wife Yvonne are doing something to raise money for charity. The plan is to go to Malaga for a few days and to jump from a great height using a paraglider, landing a few thousand feet below. Thankfully a nice lightweight chap called Antonio is doing the piloting.

Those of you who know Tony will be well aware that to do this and avoid falling out of the sky he's had to work very hard to lose weight (over 45 Kg so far) which is no mean feat.

Digby as we all know is truly terrified of heights, even ladders let alone tall buildings or cliff tops get his knees wobbling. Yvonne is there to make sure they don't chicken out whilst Tony's wife Elanor is the official photographer (for evidential purposes) and hot line to the ‘Servicios de emergencia’. The hope is to video at least one of the "landings" for all your amusement.

The money raised will be going to the Relief Chest Scheme of the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) for distribution to worthy causes. Some examples of ways the money has been spent in the past are, Teddy Bears for every child admitted to every A&E Dept. in the UK; Freemasonry gave more than £200,000 to support the Red Cross appeal for those affected by the terrorist attack in Manchester. UK Freemasonry is often a source of support when it's needed most, for both Masons and the wider community.
Please note everything raised will be going to charity as Tony, Digby, Elanor and Yvonne are paying for the trip entirely themselves.

Very many thanks in anticipation

Tony, Elanor, Digby & Yvonne

Thank You
